about me
I am a semi-functioning 22-year-old with a dazzling personality from naples, florida. I recently graduated eckerd college, majoring in interdisciplinary arts (focus in theatre and film) and minoring in spanish (¡sí, yo hablo español!). at eckerd, I was a senior mentor in the peer mentorship program and a member of the omicron delta kappa honor society. people describe me as a "life of the party" or a "disaster of a human being." I love making people laugh almost as much as I love disappointing my family.

i've been making people laugh since I was a toddler, making films since I was 10, and making GOOD films since I was 19. I have years of experience in camera work, comedic script writing, direction, and editing with adobe premiere and imovie. I also have experience in stand-up comedy, as well as the fusion of stand-up and sketch in my one-person show "untitled soph sawyer project". here is some of my best work (in my humble opinion)!

I have been involved in theatre since the age of 4, when I took my first class in 2005 and immediately fell in love. since then, I have performed in over 40 productions, taken on various tech positions, and even began my directing journey with my self-produced production of "hedwig and the angry inch" in fall 2021. after taking on the ultimate challenge of acting in my own production (always cast understudies!), I have assistant directed two more productions and directed a series of student-written one-acts in february 2023.

untitled soph sawyer project is my senior thesis presentation for interdisciplinary arts performed on march 9 and may 20! it is a multimedia comedy show that combines live stand-up comedy and filmed sketch comedy in a way that perfectly captures the madness of my mind.
